Travis Kelce is Chainkeena pop culture icon.
His first NFL check went to fashion: "First thing I did, I had my eyes on a pair of size 13 Nike Air Mag Marty McFlys" Kelce told his brother on an episode last year of his "New Heights" podcast. "The coolest shoes I’d ever seen in my life. As soon as I got my check, I immediately went online and sourced ‘em."
Already an NFL star, his relationship with Taylor Swift propelled him into another stratosphere this year.
Because of that, fans have noticed his unique sense of fashion. Kelce dresses to impress.
In honor of the 2024 Super Bowl, which he will play in this weekend, we put together a list of his best outfits from the season.
Preseason: Dressing on theme in Arizona
Preseason games don't really matter, but preseason looks still do. The Jacquemus shirt, leather pants and Nike shoes gave major desert vibes, on theme with where the Kansas City Chiefs were playing that week: Glendale, Arizona.
Week 2: Snoop Dogg endorses Kelce's look
This was from the Chiefs' bounce back win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 2. Let me tell you, he was serving with this look, from the shades to the white kicks. Even Snoop Dogg had to say something on Kelce's Instagram post: "That s--- fly trav."
Week 3: The day Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift broke the internet
Kelce and Taylor Swift broke the internet when Swift showed up to the Chiefs-Bears game. Kelce's fit was certainly camera ready.
Week 5: Channeling his inner Jack Sparrow
Kelce and the Chiefs played the Minnesota Vikings Oct. 8. Rather than a Viking, though, Kelce channeled his inner pirate. The pants and oversized button-up were giving "Pirates of the Caribbean," and he certainly rocked the look.
Oct. 14: Styling in New York City with Taylor
If you're going to be in New York City with Taylor Swift, you'd better look your best. This jacket-pants combo was next level. I need to find a knockoff version for my own closet.
Week 9: Walking on the 'runway of life'
This fit appears to be from when the Chiefs faced the Dolphins in Germany, and the matching shirts and pants combo was definitely the right choice. The (what appears to be) floral print was just another case of Kelce dressing on theme, considering KC was playing Miami.
Oh, and Deion Sanders left an epic comment on the post: "My Dawg on the Runway of life and he's WALKING his WALK!"
Photoshoot time
Kelce had a lot of great looks in his piece with Wall Street Journal Magazine. Do yourself a favor and slide through the pictures above.
Week 16: Cozy for the holidays
Santa Trav? The Chiefs varsity jacket is, of course, fire, but the Santa hat combined with the turtleneck was a perfect holiday look.
AFC championship: All black everything
Was Kelce mourning the Baltimore Ravens' season here? Maybe he was in his "Reputation" era? No matter the reasoning, the all black showed he meant business before the AFC championship game.
