Come on, man. David Spade is just looking for some patriotic razzle-dazzle.
Spade, who starred as Joe Dirt in the 2001 comedy of the same name, paid homage to the film while visiting a fireworks stand in Kentucky ahead of the Fourth of July weekend.
The Emmy-nominated actor shared a video of his visit in a post on his social media pages Monday. "I was in Kentucky and had to find a #fireworks stand," Spade wrote.
In the minute-long clip, Spade can be seen perusing the business’s fireworks inventory, just as his character Dirt did in a scene from the Dennie Gordon-directed film.
The stand's sales attendant, who was "starstruck" to see Spade, offered to sell the actor a megapack of fireworks titled "The Godfather."

However, the package's $899 price tag proved a bit steep for Spade, who playfully replied, "You think I got that kind of money?"

Released in April 2001, "Joe Dirt" starred Spade as the mullet-maned title character, who embarks on a quest to find his parents after being abandoned at the Grand Canyon.
The film, co-written by Spade and co-starring Brittany Daniel and Dennis Miller, grossed nearly $31 million at the global box office and was nominated for choice comedy at the 2001 Teen Choice Awards.
